Kerry Long is a gem of a jewelry maker and a big part of bringing SLOcally Made to life each year. Like many of our other makers, Kerry has been inspired to create as long as she can remember. An homage to the nickname her grandpa used to call her (Kerry Blueberry), Blueberry Jewelry is her vision brought to life through mentorship and experience — along with some literal blood, sweat and possibly a couple tears. The finished product may look effortless, but hand-fabricating each piece is no joke. Through the process of coiling, sawing, soldering, hammering, stamping, polishing and brushing, her designs come to life. As beautiful as they are durable, these pieces are made to last. We are so grateful for the energy that Kerry brings to SLOcally Made, her craft, and the world in general.
