Abby creates Surf Gems, jewelry made from leftover surfboard resin, or what she calls “surf rocks” which she collects from the floors of board building shops across California. What we love most about Abby’s artform is that she is taking a material that is headed to the landfill and making it into beautiful, wearable jewelry that perfectly matches the laid back beachy vibes of the Central Coast.
With each pair being one-of-a-kind, Abby’s earrings and bolo ties perfectly reflect the things that are important to her - sustainability, art, self-expression and the deep love of that big, vast ocean many of us love so much. Her creations are also energetically vibrant, approachable, unique and fun which are all ways we would describe just who this maker is.
