2026 SLOcally Made Vendor Application

Hey there! SLOcally Made is back for year 10 and if you ended up here, that must mean you’re thinking about joining. Welcome! Think of this as a hybrid between a retail store and pop-up market. For the 10th year now, we’ve provided a bridge between local makers and local community through the creation of temporary store in Downtown San Luis Obispo in December. The community has shown up every year - and we don’t expect anything different this year.

There are 2 ways to be a vendor this year (some changes so read through carefully):

In order to be flexible and inclusive of all business capacities, we provide 2 ways to participate in our market. The makers and creatives are the core of our business. Both models are are more cost effective than a traditional 50/50 retail environment as we understand that many of the traditional crafts take a long time to make.
Core Vendor:
Who this is: Our core team has their own self-curated displays in the store, helps work shifts, is highlighted most in the marketing, helps with workdays, and is the heart of SLOcally Made. (10-15 Vendor Max)
Shift Commitment: work 12-15 shifts
Commission: 25%
Work Days: 2 out of 5
$650 deposit which will be refunded in your final check as long as you fulfill the full commitment.
You should have enough product to fill a busy display for the entire time. Displays spaces will be more modest than in years past, Each vendor will have the equivalent of16 sq. ft • a half table • 1 shelving unit • one 5’ clothing rack.

Retail Vendor:
Who this is: vendors who want a simple commitment without work shifts, are testing the waters on a new business or have a limited product line. Retail Vendors are curated throughout the store and we merchandise your items for you.
Shift Commitment: work zero shifts
Commission: 45%
Work Days: Zero shifts
Deposit: $0
You should have enough product to fill a busy booth for the entire time
